Why did Lord Vishnu take the Avatar of Lord Sri Rama?

Sri Rama is the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu as a virtuous kshatriya prince (to restore the glory of kshatriya clan) in the Treetha Yuga. Bhumidevi(Goddess Earth) pleaded with Lord Brahma(the Creator) to be rescued from the evil king Ravana who was destroying her by wagging wars and spreading evil. Ravana had also defeated the Devas and ruled the heavens, earth and the hell.

TEMPLE FUNDS –SOCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS

Rarely you come across any village, in India, without a temple right from Himalayan tops down to Cape Comorin. The Bharath (India) is the land of Divinity and temple worship is inherent in the blood of every Hindu. Of course, one is not sure abut the very origin of the temple cult, or even the temple itself. One can perceive that the very concept of the Temple is developed out of sacrificial altars. While sacrifice is considered as worship of invisible Gods through HOMA or lighting fires, the temple provides us to worship of Gods in their Archana form. Just as the multiplicity of fires in sacrifice, is the multiplicity of temples .Of course none can deny, that temples are ancient to the Gods itself. Worship is vivid form times immemorial, but the existence of temple dates back only to 6th or 7th century BC .However, we come across Idol worship as early as in 2nd century BC.
